So I've been shoping for an sti but its way to much otd. Also my parents wont sign on it because they dont want me to dive stick so I said I'll get the Z in auto I dont mind at all (because in San Francisco it might be a good idea). So I'm going tomorrow to get a Z for sure. My question is how much could I get a 06 touring in white for (with 10k down, and around 4.9%)? Also would I be correct to say that since the 07's are new that there is a wider aftermarket setup for the 06's?

p.s. is there a navigation in the touring and if not is it easy to but in a nice aftermarket one?

With $10,000 down, why are mom and dad signing anything? If the car is $30,000, certainly the dealer will be willing to loan you $20,000.

if you're going w/ an 06 Touring, probably could get it for 30-31k. Then with 10k down, 4.9%, you're talking about $390+/mon. Since you've mentioned the aftermarket set-up for 06 vs 07, only under the hood will it be different. Suspension & wheels are the same.

 

i think you can get the nav. stock or not, as an option. but other than that its not hard to put one in where the storage compartment is above your stock radio, i have one and it cost about 1300 total, for the unit and instal.

 

Not sure, check kbb.com. I too put 10K down on my toutirng but had no existing credit, so my mom helped on the co-sign and it saved me 3.5%. 4.9% is pretty good for a used car, national average is like 7 something I think.

 

My used 04 Touring was $21,900. But I didn't have much credit history to speak of and my interest rate is horrible...I'm putting down 4x the monthly payment every month to get it paid off asap and avoid most of the interest.

 

To finance 20,000 at 4.9% for 5 years would cost approx. $376.00; to finance 20,000 at 4.9% for 4 years $459.00

 

My touring was 33K otd. This was with the nav, 6spd, and lo-jack installed. I put 18K down and just finished paying the car off last year.
