If Jim sold anything else I would still consider buying from him. Just not a Seibon product. I think a lot of speical interests are being served here and my last sentence is why it was deleted.

So .. Jim didn't request the thread deleted... Austin didn't request the thread deleted... so Dave, did you decide to delete it altogether on your own? I just don't get it. Closed maybe.. but deleted?

vendors; you will have your good days and your bad days. The way you handle them especially in the public eye is a reflection of how you handle your business on a daily basis. If the thread stayed open everyone could have seen what happend and probably would have been happy to hear it was resolved. There was bad mouthing going on because it was a bad situatuion, correcting it professionaly and with honesty will gain more respect. Closing the thread looks shady and if I was the vendor there is no chance in he!! I would have it closed. (I dont care who closed it vendor, consumer, mod.) "sweeping it under the carpet" is unacceptable people need to see whats going on out there. Should we close all the threads about Ebay or Scams too?? No!! because people that can't figure things out on thier own can at least lear from others mistakes or find out who is willing to help them out in a bad situation!!!

To Jim, I have never dealt with you personally so for people like me who are in the market for CF, threads like the one in question here will only strengthen your credibility and professionalism. I may have second thoughts about Seibon but not about you for my CF needs. To the rest of you, the last thread was very informative good or bad and should be made available. Many of you jump on noobs telling them to search. What good is the search if you only get half the story? This is a public forum where people share their thoughts and experiences. Besides a few individuals who go around wasting bandwidth posting useless things, the last one was very useful for the vendor and customers because it allowed us to understand realistically what to expect from CF. If this thread is deleted too then it will reflect the true business practices around here.

i geuss no one read my earlier posts... its not hard to stay in contact with a customer, all you have to do is let them know you are still aware of thier problem and not abandon them for so long that they get worried and ask for advice.

ALL FACTS!

Locked because some people have a hard time following an order. I guess I should have locked it a lot earlier....
