Sorry about the long title... are the 2003-2005 18" Nissan 350z wheels the same width and offset as the 2004-2006 Nissan Maxima SE wheels? They look EXACTLY the same...

I don't know about offsets but I can tell you they are definitely not. The factory Z 18" are 18X8 but front and back are different as well.

No they are different, the offsets are Low Disk type on the Maxima and the size is 18x7.5" wide versus the high pad type 350Z 18x8. The 350Z ones run a lower offset to bring the wheel out more.

Maxima SE wheels:
size: 18" x 7.5"
offset: 40mm

350Z Touring/Performance model wheels
Size: 18x8.0
Offset: +30mm

They are the same size front and rear, 18x8

Size: 18x8.0
Offset: +30mm
Weight: 26.56lbs

Now the track model and 17" versions has different sized wheels front and rear.

In addition to the specs above, they are not the same. If only I could grab a picture for you, the Maxima wheel at the end of the spokes come closer to each other (similar to an arrow) while the 350z goes straight to the edge of the rim. Similar, but not exact.

Just go to your local auto parts store and find a color that closely matches the wheel. And it is just the wheel, so its not a big deal if its off by a few shades.

Well what I meant to say is they are not the same. They may be the same size, but if you look them up in you fast you will see that that is a FR and a RR for that wheel. Here's other proof.

wheels in question.

front

back

FWIW.

I know about the markings on the wheels inners but there isnt any real difference other then front from what i know Nissan puts a "idiot proof" stud in the front hub so the dummies at tire shops cant mount rear wheels in the front. It might be made so it can house the idiot stud who knows but there is not any physical difference in offsets or size. Let me know when you find what the differences are, i been wonder that since 2003.
