350Z or EVO X
Im new to this board....but just wondering what everyone thinks. I was looking to either buy an 06 or 07 350Z roadster or wait a year and buy the Evo X. Im not too thrilled about the X's looks...but the performance is going to be way above that of 350Z. I live in Las Vegas which would be really nice for the roadster. I right now have a SRT4...hahaah..no bad comments about that..it was a good college car!... but just let me know what you guys would do in my situation. Sit and wait a year or get the 350Z and start modding.

Come to a Z board and get Z favoritism.
For me the Z is more of a man's car and the Evo a kid's car. I work with execs a lot and clients visit periodically. I don't mind rolling up in my Z but couldn't imagine doing it in an Evo.
I will admit though that for performance alone the Evo is more feasible.

You gotta just think about what YOU want. You wanna semi luxurious grand touring RWD sports car or a ***** to the wall small 4-door. Personally If I never bought my Z Id probly be more apt to buy an Evo, however for the price of a new Evo (35k?) You could get a base Z and get some rims and a turbo kit for it. Its really all about prefferance and what you yourself would like to own.

^ Actually, you can get an Evo RS for less than $27k.

Sorry don't ride bikes. Too dangerous. hahaha. I've never driven a Z so maybe I should start there! The Evo X with paddle shifters looks pretty damn nice though!

Anyway, OP, if you're just looking for straight up performance out of the box and cheap to mod, get the X. If you're looking for an all-around gorgeous vehicle with class but is a little more costly to mod for lots of power, get the Z. Personally, I will be going with the Z. Although I love my Prelude, I want to know what it's like to have 1.3L more displacement

the new evo 10 is gonna be nice. They didnt implement AYC but they added that super handling AWD deal thats supposed to be better than hondas. Also, new engineblock. Im curious as to how it'll perform because its supposed to be semi-closed deck aluminum, 2.2+ liter last i heard, at 320bhp, more torque. The interior was very sexy when i last saw it too. As of now, the 2007 EVO X is better to me than the 2007 350Z. The Z needs some kind of forced induction to compete.

Wow....didn't think you guys would be A-holes about asking for your opinion. It was just a simple question. After having your cars for a good amount of time...and if you could do it over again would you invest in the 350Z? or wait and get a car that is going to be far superior in performance?

What did they tell you to get over on the EVO forums?
Z Forum people will tell you to get a Z
EVO forum people will tell you to get an EVO,
Do some research (search) and decide what is better for you...
