So I am just curious. Ive heard that even though they say the ETA of the 07 getting in is say 2-15-07, is that very accurate? Ive read on here that those are just some random number they like to throw out...

 

I got mine within a week of the dealers ETA.

Edit: Now that I've thought about it more. They originally 'said' maybe Late '05 December, early '06 January. By the time January came around they were able to give me an actual ETA from Nissan. I took ownership 1/25/06.. So.. whatever.. you'll get it eventually.

Not accurate. Read the January (2003-2006) posts from members who pre-order. Some waited a month. Some gave up after several months, and just bought one off the lot.

Consider this: the dealer has your down payment. What is the incentive to get the car to you as fast as possible? And I assume, knowing dealers, that they will sell a car out from under you. Lets say that you ordered a black 350Z for $35,000. If another buyers offers $36,000 for the same car. I bet that your car goes to the other buyer.

Its a cruel world.

 

It takes about 3 months from the order time to dealer delivery [On the East coast].

most dealers should have them.. but may not be in show room cuz they need to sell out the 06. my dealer had 07 in the back 06 in front.

Ok well mine was ordered in Dec i think. But they had pre-ordered it for there store, told me about it so i put a down payment. The ETA date is 2/15 sound right?

 

I pre-ordered my 05 Track in end of February 2005 because they weren't stateside yet. It was supposed to be delivered within 60-90 days, or 2-3 months. So my target date was like end of May. It didn't arrive until the 3rd week in July... seven weeks late!

Luckily, I didn't wait but two weeks beyond the original promised date for the one I ordered and found the one I bought in Florida and drove it back up in Mid-June.
