What's your beater? Or do you daily drive?
About 8 months ago I decided driving a boosted Z all the time isnt a good idea and gets crap gas mileage, so I bought a 96 volvo 850 turbo.
Its actually a pretty cool little car. a 2.3l I5 turbo. Its very mod able and can hit 280-300whp pretty cheaply.
If anyone is looking for a cheap, fairly quick, and fairly reliable DD I definitely recommend one.

2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited, 3.5" lift. It's my beater for the winter, and the Z is my dd spring-fall, so long as there's decent weather. Z is great, but the one and only time I drove it in the snow was a white knuckle ride for the entire 20 mile trip.

my DD is a 2007 Versa
Thats cool. Yea still on D2s. Actually everything is the same on it. I added a tuned ecu. I am planning on doing some more stuff to the volvo down the road. The car has had minor problems but nothing I couldn't fix. I really like it for a dd.
Wow! there are some nice beaters out there.
That 06+ STI for a winter beater would be my ideal beater right there...I'm envious.
In MY reality, I've got a beat up 240SX (S14 Zenki) for my winter beater. Cosmetically not so pretty + **** suspension + and bone stock most everywhere but it's got a sound KA engine and transmission so...for a 17 year old car I get 27MPG (in winter) so I'd say it's doing pretty good.

Depends on the weather I have two cars and one bike besides my Z...
2004 Grand Cherokee, V-8 Limited (tows and lugs a ton of stuff around)
2005 Suzuki SV650S (rapes all corners)
2012 Focus Hatch, Sport package (38mpg and fun as $hit to drive, surprisingly)

95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo (4.0L). Great condition w/ 111k miles. Was my grandfather's - will probably keep it for a damn long time.
Getting my Z out of storage tonight... I miss her

I drive my Z everyday because all I really do is drive like 2 miles to high school everyday and then about 2 miles to work a few times a week. Apparently some kids at school were thinking about keying my car just because I have that kind of car... i wish they would
... but also the drivers at my school are idiots.
They never look back when backing out of spaces and I've almost been hit several times. It's a risk I'm willing to take
