Screw the leather and navi. that stuffs for chicks. Men don't get lost. Now seriously, 04'...mileage considerably lower, year higher and only $800 difference. Recipe for success. This is considering that all other factors being equal. Condition, and maintenance history, recalls taken care of etc.

that seems like a steep price for an 03 touring Z w/ over 50,000 miles on it

Save a little more and get an 04 with the touring package. Leather looks more classy. The heated seats are so nice in the winter.

Here are the 2 cars specs....Let me know what you think!

2004 Performance Model
PPW Ext
Black Cloth Int
6 spd manual
26,700 miles

price - $19,700

2003 Touring Model
PPW Ext
Tan Leather Interior
6 spd manual
Fully Loaded W/ Navigation
51,000 miles

price - $18,900
I'd go with the enthusiast unless you must have all the bells and whistles--you can get those cheap/crap cloth seats recovered w/factory leather or custom (with inserts, etc) for less than 1k. If you are planning to swap out your rims and audio (whether Bose or not), most people do b/c the stereo system sucks in the Z, you can always integrate your own Nav. Black is hard to keep clean--very--very-very hard.

+ 1,

if the 04 is tidy and the mechanical side of things is still good.
Also agree with one of the other posters, hard call, got to love the heated seats in Winter.

Good luck with your decision.

The stock NAV sucks ***. Leather Seats = Useless Weight.

'04, unless you just have to have the stock navigation, but I would just get a $500 aftermarket gps myself (which I did).
