sounds like a great idea, i'd donate my front bumper if he were local... if he were i could hook him up with a shop too, i'd have no second thoughts about fixing the car, might have a little fun doing it too, if money is a problem selling those rims would be easy and help alot, or maybe just fixing the mechanical stuff so the car would run and is safe, them fix the cosmetics later

That sux.... Maybe you should have learned the finer points of driving in a ford festiva first?? At least then you wouldn't be out anything for wadding up a festiva with no insurance... JK - Glad you're okay.

He has gotten a few estimates that seem pretty high, I have asked the OP to post it up and let us see what we can do for him as a group.

I pay only 91 dollars a month for full coverage, I use General Casuality. I cant understand how you could afford a car like this, and not put full coverage on it.

I think he means 17k miles, judging from the shift boot area, the car is a pre 06, I doubt if it's really 17 miles.

I'm sorry, but this has to be one of the dumbest things I've seen on this forum. "Waaah, I crashed my car because I drove it in the snow with summer tires, and I don't have insurance". Are we supposed to feel bad for you?

Please don't have any children, okay? I'll donate $100.00 towards fixing your car if you sign a binding contract saying you will never have children.

Because this thread needs to serve as a reminder that there are incredibly stupid people out in the world, and we all need to be aware of the danger they pose to society, both in terms of actions (like this guy driving a rear wheel drive car with summer tires in snow) as well as their genes (low IQ genes polluting the gene pool).
