Give the guy a break; easy enough question.

Though I'm not sure of answer! LOL! I believe suspension is the same on both but others can provide definative answer.

I always give everyone a hard time when they could just do a quick search and recover 31 pages of threads that they can browse to get the answer. But i usually end up giving them an answer just b/c i know i get impatient and want an answer quick and without a couple hours of reading.

I don't think there is going to be a diff between the ride, just try to decide if you want to have Brembos and lighter wheels with cloth manual seats or the Leather heated power seats and the Bloze premium stereo.

I don't want to ignore you yet....you might have something useful to say in the future.

But if you are going to stick around here, get ready for much more and much worse than what i did to you here.

Track = rays 18" wheels, Brembo's, TCS, VDC, cloth interior, lacking on the luxurys.

Touring = TCS, VDC (6spd models), leather, cruise control, Bose stereo, no Brembo's, optional NAVI, optional steering wheel stereo controls.

very basic quick comparison

You will get a crappy radio in the track.

Nissan has made minor suspension changes over the years. These changes are for all models. If you look at models within one particular year, the suspension is the same.

I just got my Track from my brother about 5 days ago. We had it in the house for about a year, then he got a gsx-r 1000.
If you can get the track, go for it please. You never see them because everyone chooses the turing because you realy cant understand exactly how fantastic the brembo brakes are.
The only downside of the track are the rear rims. they are 19's. pretty much, very expensive for rear tires. 19's are too large for track, by one inch, and too small for the bling bling factor, IMO.
i hope i have been helpful, i hope the photo's load up.

optional steering wheel stereo controls = standard. No optional!

Aren't Rays 18" in the front and 19" in the back? or is that only for 06 on?

Not to hijack this thread...how's the ride quality between the two? The difference being Rays are larger...perhaps a rougher ride?

well... i have to say. the ride quality if F***IN AMAZING! i love it. its tight, but its also loud. it dosnt hurt, thanks to the wonderful seats. dont worry about ride quality, if your getting a Z, i dont think you'll have a problem. the only thing you will have to look out for the driveways and speedbumps, but i think you have that expected by getting a Z.

The ride is great, the ride is low, and the ride is loud. I love every minute of it.

Good question. And…ignore the less-than-friendly response to a new member from “kwiker.”

For the best driving experience with a stock Z, choose the Track model. The suspension is the same thru-out the Z lineup, but setups for various models are not the same. You notice a difference.

Hey… What’s the idea berating a new Forum member asking a legitimate question?

What about this approach: “Welcome and I am glad you are asking a question that stimulates conversation on my350z.com. There is some information that discusses part (but not all) of your question. Here are some related threads (put thread pointers here for the new member to read). You can discover more information by doing a search.”

He has a good question (and starts a legitimate thread). --Spike
