I got my Z at 6:30PM Wed. Nov. 9, 2006 and I rode around until around midnight. I had to go to work the next day so I waited until the weekend and rode around all weekend. I must have look at the Z a million times from my office window that Thurs. and Fri.

 

This one was very different from any other car I've bought. I drove to the dealership after work last August to look at a ZR, and ended up driving it home at around 8:00 that night. It's the first vert I bought in the summer, which made the 40 mile top-down drive home very memorable. You couldn't wipe the grin off my face!

I remember the drive home from every new car I've bought, but this one will stand out from the rest!

couldnt sleep for the first 2 nights.... then i always worried that someone keyed or ding my car. After the first month, everything was fine, but I still think people would do that sort of stuff out of jealousy.

 

first day I got my car I put it in the shop and didnt have it for like 3 weeks =( But I got it back and its so much better now!!

I drove it alllll day long. Driving from person to person to show it off and then driving for the hell of it. It was a damn good day! I still drive it around aimlessly when I have time just for fun.

 

It was the day I least liked my Z as everyday since I have liked it even more and more.

 

I was glad to get away from the dealership!

 

I was in El Paso, TX and went driving around for a while. Took a break and got something to eat and then (by this time it was like 2AM) went out and hit 155MPH. Didn't want to hit the rev limiter b/c I did that in my Cobra and I had to take the d*mn thing to my tuner and have him reset everything b/c one or two of the injectors had permanently shut off and I wasn't sure if that would happen with the Z.

 

a month befor i turned 16 on feb 28th 06 dad and me went to sign me up for drivers edd..after that i told him lets go look at cars..he said ok so we go to the biimers look at stuff then across the street to the volvo,jaguar,and mercedes delaer...right next to it was the nissan dealer i told my dad to stay here im gonna go see the 350z...i see a silver one just sitting there as i walk in i sat in it and had the weirdest feeling...it just felt perfect...said to my self this is my ar...so a few minutes later dad walks in sees me sitting in it and i told him i liked it a lot...took a little time to convince him but at the end it all paid off...got home checked in the garage at least 10 times to look at it again and again...part that sucked is i had to wait for a few months till my dad could trust me to drive it alone without him...for those few months he would take it out sometimes too...eventually he truested me with it and it officially became all mine

Got mine last week, drove it out of the dealership and until the low gas light came on

Got home and couldn’t sleep I was tossing and turning for hours, so I got up and I slept in it!

I awoke to my girlfriend starring through the window shaking her head at me … I smiled … turned my head and fell back to sleep

werd, I felt the same way, and I worry everyday some jealous freak will key my car just for kicks or spite

 

got home about 12pm and went to friends house to showit off then went to my now x-girlfriend and showed her the car. and she was pist i cant drive it cuz its not stick and she went on an on about her not being able to drive or me having her friends in it....but i dont remember all the details cuz i could careless cuz i had what i wanted!!!! love the Z

 

I put down my deposit on Saturday, Feb. 11th 2006 and picked up my new '06 z on Saturday, Mar. 11th 2006. On the day I put down the deposit it was snowing/raining, and on the day I picked it up it was perfectly clear, about 70 degrees, absolutely perfect. I had to go sit with the finance guy to do some final haggling on the price and interest rate and eventually got close to what I wanted to pay.

Went outside and I paid my respects to the old car that I traded in (Mazda6, still miss it!) and got in the shiny black Z. It only had 11 miles on it so I couldn't really romp on it that day, but I remember getting on the Schuylkill Expressway and doing a quick rip from the on-ramp up to about 100 mph and I couldn't believe how smoothly it got there when compared to my previous car, and how stable it felt. I drove around a lot that day and burned up the better part of a tank of gas.

That was a good day indeed.

 

it was like 4.5 years ago but i remember waking up in the middle of the night and making sure it was still in the garage.
