I was really nervous about getting this car, not because of the price tag and all but the sheer fact that... I had never driven a manual before haha. I picked up my car at the dealership brand spankin new... and I had to drive it 1200 miles back home. One would say, I'm crazy but I'd like to think it was a good decision lol. I taught myself and I drove, it was probably the most fun I have had in the car since I bought it.

I couldn't wait until it turn light so I'd take her for a ride. Surely enough the next day I came home with a camera filled with well over 100 pictures.

Well, I'm glad nobody 'dry humped' all over their beloved Z after getting her home alone. Hehehee! :P

Oh boy. I was more nervous and scared when I got my Z because I didn't really know how to drive stick back then. But I drove it home anyways. That first night I almost cried cuz when I took it to the empty lot I kept stalling. But the next day my friends taught me and I learned in less than an hour. Whew....

I was able to sleep no problem! I just spent the day driving around getting paper work done, and then the next day I had off work, I just took a long cruise, and enjoyed the new ride.

Default I think I was the first in Peoria AZ to have a Z

I went to the Dealership October 2002. the prices were rediculous. They told me that with 5,000 Down and $650 per month, I could Drive it home... On a 5 Year lease with 15,000 residual. Very Bad deal. But I loved the car so I did it. Since, I traded it in for a 2006 and have never looked back. I plan on owning a Z until the day I die. Long live Nissan!!

I bought the car at about 11pm and drove it home that night. It was around christmas time and my ****-of-an-ex was back in town so when I went to show the car off to the guys guess who was there... Oh, hi. Yeah, it's mine. hmm? no. I'm seeing someone. GO **** YOURSELF.

Then I showed it off to my current girlfriend. She didn't understand why I bought such a strange looking car until I gave her a ride. Then it all made sense. Then we broke the car in.

When I first bought my Z .... I felt like I was dreaming. I couldn't believe it. I kept looking outside my window expecting to see my silver mustang .... but nope ... it was gone ... replaced by the far superior silver Z. It took me a while to realize that ... wow ... i actually have a Z.

I got the car about 10 am on a Saturday. Jumped in, drove 2.5 hours to MA, taking a few detours along the way. Then when I got out I was at a party, so I got wasted and didn't have any problem sleeping well. Next morning, she was out on the curvy roads. YES!

For me, the weirdest part was how out of place it looked on the street. I still have a hard time believe that I get to drive it everyday. I'm alot more paranoid about vandalism, theft, but the payoff of driving a Z is much better

immediately drove it to a buddys house to show it off, got it home, put it in the garage and just sat in it for a while thinking, wow i must be dreaming, this car is badass

most of the day today (when i havent been driving it) i have been occasionally opening the door to the garage to stare some more

also, is it odd that i get excited now when the stop light is about to turn green? because i do

I read a post on this thread bout the power (first feel) lol well,

when I bought the car ...by the end of the week I thought the car was too fast for me, it had too much power that I actually wanted to return it...I know sounds weird, but now after 2 years... I've done a couple of mods and I feel like I need A LOT MORE POWER!
