Good one. It's always better when we can laugh it-off.
Your incident reminds me of the time I lifted my 5th wheel trailer and moved the Silverado forward to clear the trailer, but forgot to lower the tailgate.
Bang!! Tailgate smashed. Expensive repair...

My buddy did that to his Mazda 626 in college. We just bent the door back in with a crowbar and proceeded to try and pick up women. The door basically fell out of the car when you tried to open it and almost hit the ground. Needless to say, the only women we picked up were very drunk women.

Update: (not that anybody cares)
Got the car back, Friday. So I finally got rid of that 06 Stratus rental... not before running up almost $1K in rental bills... but, at least I got my car back.
The Z looks GREAT. The body shop did an amazing job making the car look new again. Only thing, is there's a scar on the bottom sill, in the corner, where the door hit it, when it folded, but I can live with that. 2 Thumbs up, to Ski's Auto World in Fayetteville, NC!
Now I gotta get the car serviced at Nissan, cause my TPMS malfunction light is on.
