2007 Grand Touring vs Touring?
I am getting ready to purchase a 2007 350Z grand touring model. In looking at the touring vs the grand touring it looks like the brakes are different and that the grand touring has bigger and wider wheels on the back. Is it worth it for the money to get the grand touring? I am not racing the car but will be driving it daily for my only transportation. Let me know what you think. Also, they are offering $29,000 out of door (including my trade in of $15,000). Is this a good deal for a 2007 grand touring?

$29,000 + $15,000 (trade in) = $44,000? For a GT, that seems a bit high.
All the differences between models can be found at:

You should really know this ins and outs of your prospective cars before even thinking about setting foot in the dealer, but good luck with your purchase.

im not sure if u aware on how the dealer turn ur money around when buying car...i know i got my gt for about $100 over invoice then i traded in the other car that i have...
Im not sure if ur aware of this, when u have a trade in, ur only paying tax for whatever ur borrowing...meaning if the gt cost 32k then ur trade is value is 12k, ur only being tax on 20k and not the 32k of the retail value of the car!!!..
heres what u can do, ask them to do an itemize for u...
as the value of their car? try to get as close as possible to invoice or if possible get it under invoice...i highly doubt they even give it to u for invoice..
Then ask them how much the value for ur trade in, then the rate for the loan....
depending on ur credit score, u can probably get a special financing through them...
then do research afterwards and ur math...dont fall for the dealer telling u whats out the door and alll that...u have to understand how they come up to that figure...hope this helps a bit

Get the price for the car straight first , then discuss the trade in. It actually sounds like there trying to take you for a ride. Dealers will f-ch you as hard as you will let them , and not in a good way.

trish,
just as a reference i ordered my 07' GT with navigation, side airbags, and aluminum kick plates. i didn't have a trade-in, and before tax it was 36k, after tax it went to 39k. Without the navigation it should drop 2k. MSRP should be 36,100, and invoice is around 34,000. i paid about 400 above invoice. good luck.
