hmm... not too bad actually. I may do it too but I'm not sure. I have a Leman's Sunset and so the orange in the headlights and orange on the turn signals below actually look good.
FYI: I don't believe those are LEDs.

The two orange strips in the front....
Change to clear strips is a Nissan option in Japan -- for $ 85 (10,000 yen).
I think the clear strips look better... cleaner.

hmmm...I know with Audi's, some people just replace the US housings with the Euro spec housings that have clear corners. The Euro spec housings are better quality also. It's costlier, but just an easy plug and play. Can you do the same with the Z....forgive my ignorance but I'm new to Japanese car tuning.

Clear front is awesome! I think I will be following your lead on this one.
The clear rear. Can't say I like it. It almost looks like it wants to be the front of the car instead!

Don't forget the rear turn signals!!!!!!
It's hard to tell, but I cleared the amber bulb in the rear turn signal section.
The tail lights were cleared out of curiosity, but my main motive is to get rid of the amber turn signals... I already have plans to what I'll do with it.
If you all look at the amber LED cluster I made at www.picturetrail.com/djtonium , you'll see that's what I'm going to test out when I get the car.
If it doesn't work as well as I hope, I'm sticking to single Luxeon LEDs for each turn signal.

Have to have red reflector as far as I know
VQ, I'm not sure if the law varies from state to state, but as far as I know for the rear brake lights, you have to have a red reflector. That is why Altezzas are legal, and completely clear, even with red LEDs are illegal and when you buy them will say for offroad/show use only. At least that is the way it is here in NY. But lots of people have the all clears anyway, most with just red bulbs that light up a nice dim pink. But the cops don't really bother anyone here about it. Same with blue/purple/green turn signals, lots of people have them, not much hassle from the PO-PO. Personally I think the red looks better than the clear in the rear. I do like the clear up front, might do that with amber LEDs for the turn signal.
