Default my tires dont smoke up

Well since i bought my Z I've noticed when i slam the bakes and press the gas my tires spin and skreech from burning out but no smoke at all whats up with that. I bought my 2004 Z used and came with Falken Ziex tires on them and i had to have 2 of them changed since my tires poped when i got into an accident but they were changed into the same exact tires, is there anything wrong with my Z or what i want smoke i love smoke

smoke is easy, pour some bleach on the tires and burn out, you'll have a white cloud you could fly a plane through

I have no idea what it could be. I've never heard of that problem? You try burning out for longer then 5 seconds in the same spot??

That what your problem is. You are "slamming" the brakes. To do a burnout you need to apply just enough so that the brakes hold the car a bit so you can get the tires to start rotating at the same time. Then you let off the brakes and go at it. If you are wondering why you see some guys just SIT there and light up their tires.. it's because they have the rear brakes disconnected. They can just lock up the fronts and go at it all afternoon. Bleach burnouts also make the smoke really really white and alot of it lol Your tires have nothing to do with it, unless you have like drag radials or R compounds. They stick to the road better which means harder to break contact. Hope this helps.

Pull the stop lamp fuse out. When you try and do a burn out with the brakes the ecu cuts the power to the engine so you cant.

Hopefully you aren't sitting there burning up your clutch from pressing down on the brake pedal too hard haha.

I have never roasted my tires with bleach...I have only heard of people doing that at burn out events etc... you dont exactly want to inhale(sp?) burning bleach smoke...

what is the need to do a burnout in a nice new Z? even at the track unless you have slicks or DR's it's really not gonna help much with your 60' or 1/4 time or trap speed... Just abuse on the car really
