Default Well that was the biggest waste of 100 bucks...ever...

I went to the dealership to get my car looked at. I was having a weird smell emitting somewhere after highway use. They took off the blower motor, engine covers, and wiper cowling. They verified the smell but they couldnt ID it. They told me its prolly a smell that would disapate over time.

Also, I thought that if you are under your bumper to bumper warranty, you dont have to pay anything out of pocket when you want it to get looked at....am I right?

I haven’t the faintest idea why it cost you $100 to find no problem.

Next time write them a check, then call your bank and cancel it.

I've been in a handful of times for warranty work and never paid a dime. The only time I've paid Nissan for work was to find what speed sensor went bad.

you live and learn. next time take it to a different dealer and find out if they charge for such things while the car is still under warranty.

If you read your fine print on your nissan factory warranty there is a deductable, which I found out after taking my 04 in and getting the window motor replaced. Cost me 50 bucks, which was good because I had already cancled my extended warranty. But since my dealership did not mail the forms out, I have it fixed for 50 and then got my 2500 back for my warranty cancel. But look and see you should have it on there somewhere.
