Question two grand to play with

ok peeps. i gotta a 06 Touring and it's stock =(... just pasted 3k miles..fun time begins..long break-in...I'm still a noob so try not to flame???

i've been able to save two grand within the past couple of months.. only thing now is what to with it? no plan for f/i

i'm thinkin of tints/mrev2/plenum spacer/Jwt Poop and....

side question---if i change my rims from the touring rims to hmmm volks... will the tire pressure sensor still work with different rims?

i say tint, swaybar, suspension, intake/popcharger........ but it really depends on what you wanna do with your car... looks? handling? speed? audio/video?..
i find suspension mods are the most fun, since you can actually tell a difference in handling......... not so much with mods that give you <10hp.

take that money and buy some wheels. the other mods you mentioned were cheap enough to save up for anytime, plus the wheels are more noticeable than anything else. than i would invest in a nice exhaust. i love the nismo

If your looking for performance and sound enhancements, the combo you listed would help.

TPS has its issues with aftermarket rims.

The best first mods for overall improvement in looks/handling/power would be a good exhaust, popcharger, and drop springs. You should be happy with that and have some cash left over.

Thumbs down

Keep the stock exhaust and get some TEST PIPES ( $120 - $180 ), Pop Charger ( $80-$120 ), MREV2 & Plenum spacer ( $550 to $600 for both ), Tanabe GF210 springs ( $170-$200 ), Front and rear adjustable sways ( $450-$500 ), Good Tint ( $200-$250 ), Motul engine, tranny, and diff fluids ( $250-$300 )..... All that comes to $2150.00 at the most if you look properly and have patience....

You'll see more of a gain with test pipes on the stock exhaust then an after market y-pipe back exhaust... For drop springs, the Tanabe gf 210's are popular

I have the Nismo exhaust and the sound is amazing at 3K + rpm all the way to redline. The sound is definitely VQ, but very tuned. Check the Exhaust forum, westcovina Nissan has a very good deal last week, something like $950 shipped.
