Total MSRP for that Z with those options is $32,916. You can do way better than what that salesman quoted.

Question Price?

Does "when" i purchase a car matter on how much they deal? He said that since summer is coming up they probably won't negotiate as much. He said he can negotiate but probably not by a lot. We will see, i am not a pushover when it comes to price. I rather walk out with nothing then walk out with something shoved up my butt.

I see really low prices on this board, what do you guys think i should pay for a car like i described earlier? What kind of APR did some of you guys get also? Thanks!!!!!

You can do much better. That summer nonsense is ridiculous. I live in Florida right now and i got ine for $1500 under MSRP and 4.2% financing for 60 months with 90 days deferred payment. ANd it was a base, so there wasn't that much extra on it where they could make too much money. I heard its better to wait until the end of the month though. Thats what I did.

Pat1,
Was that 4.2% financing offered through your dealer?
Just curious as I am also in FL and looking for a deal in the near future.

Yes, it was. I don't know what bank they used though. Its the lowest they could possibly give. They had given me some bad information about their financing originally and they were forced to work around it and i ended up getting that percentage. I'm sure if you mentioned that exact percentage, they could work with you.

In all seriousness, contact Dan Ziegler at Smithtown Nissan. (631)-361-9696 ext 221

He is the best in terms of making you a happy customer and not regretting doing your business. I have also met the owner and from top down this is a great dealership. Do a search for "Dan Z"

They also ship!

His user name in this board is bluefish.

Thanks for the info.
Here's some interesting information.
Over the weekend here in central FL I visited a dealer to check some of the colors in person. I looked at the sticker on a few different models. Right next to the MSRP sticker was this other paper stating that there was 3500 added on to the price because of market availability. Funny thing is I think I counted at least 10 350Z on the lot. I have seen this before, but really do they take us all for fools? I can give the name of the dealer if anyone is interested.
I wonder how Nissan would feel about this?

Close to 100 350z's in Arizona, all within an 80 mile radius.

I bought my touring 10 days ago for $2,000.00 under Nissan MSRP.

Every where in Arizona was willing to beat this price by a few hundred miles, but I thought I saved myself a 45 minute drive and just bought locally.

Try ABC Nissan in Phoenix, they ship worldwide and offered me $2,500.00 below factory MSRP, no markups, etc.

Good luck,
Eric

Pat,
Sounds like you got the college graduate deal maybe? I did, and that knocked my APR from 5.1% to 4.1%. I was going to do the 90 days no payment, but the finance manager kindly informed me that it would cost $4/month more if I did that.

4*60=$240=a good chunk of change that could go towards aftermarket add-ons.

No, it wasn't a college deal. The dealer had misinformed me of a couple of things about the financing so this was the lowest they could go to appease me. I've been out of college for a while so i don't think i could have gotten any special deal.
