Default Front wheels stolen from my new Z

I had my Z for less than a month before someone stole the two front wheels. I now have new locks and a viper alarm. Has this happened to anyone else here?

Hasn't happened to me...although I don't understand why wheel locks came standard with my previous car Mazda6, yet they don't come with my 2006 Z. Hooray for cost cutting!

This type of activity occurs regularly in the apartment complex I live in. The police say they are going to "try" and patrol the complex and never do. I plan on moving out when the lease is up.

Take your police report to the leasing office, and tell them you want to break you lease. They should do it at no pentalty to you. Had the same thing happen with my TT a few years back, and they let me break mine. Cause now you are always gonna be checking on it, and that's no way to live. Just my 2 cents

Happened to my girlfriend a few months back also. She was parked in a "locked" parking garage, next to a Corvette and a Boxster. The thieves decided to steal her stock Civic wheels and they left her car up on an old steel rim and a paint can.

get out of those apartments asap! Find someplace with a nice garage because losing sleep over the Z is no fun

I've been living in one of the sub-divisions around UCF for the last 8 years and never had or heard of a similar problem. Plus, to get from Winter Park to UCF I would say you have to drive a good 15-20 minutes (depending on traffic and all those red lights). We have UCF police + Orange Co. police driving around day and night.

To replace theirs, or maybe they got scared and didn't get a chance to take all 4
