It was on I70, I was headed West, he was headed East. I didn't really even see the wheel bounce until it was too late. Luckily it didn't hit my windshield, I could have been hurt bad.
Just picked the car up tonight, everything seems ok so far. Andy Mohr did a good job I think. Ask me in 30 days after driving it. I only took it there because when it was Collins Nissan I worked there for 4 years in Sales.

someone was looking over you that day.
A kid from my area was killed on the interstate last year when a wheel came off a tractor trailor, bounced over the center divider, and smacked his SUV head on.
I also saw this video a while back of some guy pumping gas, and out of nowhere this huge wheel just comes out of nowhere and obliterates this guy.

ok umm back to the topic at hand...
you should have bought a few lotto tickets the day it happened.
well if ur not taking peoples advice on purchasing an AM suspension. and u dont want to spend ANY money, then just deal with it. if someone tells u yeah, ur gonna have some problems, are u just gonna ignore the problem?
just trust the body shop, theyre not gonna screw u over if it deals with safety. u have the base model anywayz, so its just a base suspension. i'm sure they work on them all the time.

You are very lucky that wheel didn't hit the wind screen. 2 huge bits of metal flew out of the back of a truck I was absolutely miles behind, got picked up by the wind and landed on my bonnet, I was lucky like you.
If you have any doubt about whether the job has been done properly take it somewhere else for a 2nd opinion.
How long have you had your Z for?? Noticed you haven't been registered for very long.

I had just bought it about the 1st of February. We had 3 cars and traded in 2 on it. A Nissan Murano and a Scion xB.
