Default Greetings from a MINI owner part 3, Got a car!

Thanks to everyone who helped me with all my questions and ranting. I picked up my car yesterday! 2005 350Z Black, manual, 8k miles, I think it's an enthusiast lol( cloth seats, VDC, xenon lights, no navi). For her first drive... we came back from NJ, decided to take the holland tunnel and drive through Manhattan...and then home to Long Island. I really like the way the car drives, it's really responsive and the car feels really planted on the road. The power is nice too The first mods I have lined up for the Z is a Brembo BBK 14 inch 2 piece slotted rotors and red calipers( shipped out today) and a set of BBS RS-GT wheels(next month or two). Then suspension Here are two lame dealership pics..

Those are just bug marks on the front :P

The first thing I did was de-badge the rear "350Z" badge and the big NISSAN badge. I knew from better judgement that the NISSAN emblem would have pins in the trunk( and they did) but I debadged that anyway... and now I am off to the dealership to get another one LOL. Stupid me lol.

You should order some Z emblems.. I like 'em. Like this one, or this if you wanna keep the chrome emblem style. That website has a bunch of cool accessories. Congrats of course!

If you have cloth seats and VDC with no Brembos then you have a Performance model.

Congratulations nice car with low miles.

I don't know if you can fit 14" BBK on your stock 05 rims

Not sure if the 14"BBK will fit behind stock wheels. You might check before you do the complete install.

I was just thinking the same thing. Enthusiast would have TCS not VDC.

Congrats on the car ! I just got mine on friday and I am loving it

Thanks for all the nice words guys So I have a performance... sweet!

I actually never had the intention of putting the BBK behind the stock wheels.... but come to think of it, if it can fit.. why not??? Part of me wants to... other part of me wants to savour the whole thing for my BBS wheels when I order them.

z-u-later, nah bro I don't have any more money then any modder here. I just prefer to go with the handling aspect of a car before I put money to make it go faster with engine mods. In my opinion, making a car handle better makes a car faster.

Iconoclast1, LOL, yeah. Oh well...really crappy pictures now mean amazing pictures down the road

the BBK will come in handy up there. Used to drive through staten island and southern state and stuff. and one second you're going 60, and then the next its like a standstill.
