Drop the leather and it opens up your options a bunch. Warm your butt on your stove before you get in car. LOL!

Thanks for the input guys. I guess I will look around a little longer. I am actually starting to like the looks of the dark gray. IMO $20k is a lot of money, especially for someone my age(22). So i just want to make sure the it is EXACTLY the car I want.

How long have you been looking? And where have you been looking?

Before I picked up my Z, I was flipping through autotrader and I visited a few random used car lots. I found mine at a car lot and it had pretty much everything that you are looking for.

If you look hard enough, you'll find it.

Personally though, I would consider getting a silver one. The black ones are HARD to keep clean.

There's a Ton of Touring Z's Out There .. Scan CarTrader.Com .. Be Sure To Do a Car Fax on Them . There are also some Midwest Area Dealers out there who can get you what you want for $ 200.00 Over bottom line asking price in most major City's ..

I've been checking autotrader.com, cars.com, craigslist.org, a couple local classifieds, used car lots and even ebay. I've been looking for about 2-1/2 months.

I keep hearing about how hard it is to keep black clean, but there's just something about a clean black Z. I still think DB looks better though. In fact, I found an '04 DB Touring w/navi, 12k miles for $25k....seems a little steep though don't you think?

Turns out I never found one and instead I took this advice....

I suggest you do the same.

buddy...we're in the same shoes right now....I've been looking for a 2005 Touring ZR in Yellow for the past month and a half...got to a point to where I ALMOST settled for a G35C that was 1800 miles away....but I've looked everywhere too...there's a lady in my town, and she won't sell me her car cuz she owes too much on it...she has exactly what I'm looking for, she's willing to come down, but what she owes on it is ridiculous for me to pay for and it's pissing me off royally...so now I'm searching elsewhere...I found one up in the northern states...I'm gonna make the call to the used car manager and get the car. The price they have up there is less than what I was looking to pay, but I don't know about as far as the physical condition of the car if it has any body work...if it does, I'm out....but if it doesn't, I'll be flying up there, drop off a check and drive that car back to Houston...

I'm at a point right now where if I can't get what I want, I'm just gonna wait it out...I've had my 04 PPW coupe for about 2 years now and I love it...now I just want a yellow ZR...

$20,000 is not chump change. The wrong car - the wrong color - is worth nothing to you. The right car will come along.
