Default Volk TE-37 = Track Rims????

I don't know if this has already been posted or not so don't flame me, but don't the TE37's look strikingly similar to the track rims, just w/o the "dimples" and of different color? I mean, they're made from the same company and are both light weight. If so, the Gunmetal TE37s would look great on the Z, anyone planning on getting the Volk TE37 rims or know of their pricing??

I'm getting the TE37's and they are expensive... I'm not sure however if they're going to fit I want to say they around $2100 + for a full set. I believe these just may be the same wheels but with a different design. Personally I'm trying to opt for a different look so I'd probably pick up the TE37's versus the Track wheels.

Alright - I'm reviewing the Volk site and found some info...

Size - Offset - Hole - PCD
18 x 8.0 +22 +27 +32 +38 +45* 5 114.3
18 x 8.5 +30* +40* 5 114.3
18 x 9.0 +40* 5 114.3
18 x 9.5 +12* +35* +40* 5 114.3
-- Sizes available for the Volk TE37s
Asterisk "*" denotes non-high pad wheel.

Here's what information I have for the 350Z's wheels...

225/50/17 (with offset 30 wheel)
235/50/17 (with offset 33 wheel)
225/45/18 (with offset 30 wheel)
245/45/18 (with offset 30 wheel)
225/45/18 (with offset 30 wheel)
245/45/18 (with offset 33 wheel)

(INFORMATION QUOTED FROM ZISME)

Would the 18x8.5 (front) and 18x9.5 (rear) fit?
What about the Offset? All these don't seem to match

I am getting the LE37T's which are Limited Editions of the TE37's, and they come in Gunmetal, there is no extra $30 charge. They are the same, but they have center caps and a polished lip. I have found the 18's for abot 2200 bucks without tires. Check out my other post in Mods (I think), I list some places you can get Volk's.

They're not the same but they are pretty damn close. Looking at them side-by-side the spokes on the track appears to be the same width along the full length of the spoke. The spokes on the TE37 look a little wider toward the center. Also the transition to the lug hole area is smoother on the track rim.

I recommend contacting the manufacturer or a reputable distributor for fit information for specific vehicles. Offset is important and the spoke design may also be a factor in terms of the wheel being able to clear the calipers.

I didn't see where you mentioned where you located them? I've tried to get them in the past, but they were on 8-9 month back-order.

I just talked to Dusty at MVPMotorsports, he says he can get them. There website is www.mvpmotorsports.com They have a great rep in the Supra Community. I was checking out supras.com (or something like that) and 50% of the people that responded to a pole said they were the best place to shop. I have never had anything to do with a Supra before, I just thought I would check it out, they have a link on their website.

$550-562 a wheel, and Dusty emailed me back twice within hours, which is rare. They are located in Ft Worth Texas which is also close to me.

You can also check out WheelOptions.com, and if you go through importhookup.com, they say you get 15% off and free shipping, I have not talked to them though.

I will be interested to see how the Z's TCS handles new size wheels. It probably won't be an issue since the f and r wheel diameters are not staggered. It would only balk if there was a difference between the front and rear in the overall diameters that was out of spec for the system. The pre-2002 NSX were very sensitve to this.

Just wondering.
