If you think the mini is a little girl's car that doesn't make you immature. It's just an opinion that you are entitled to have. I think the old Audi TT was the most "chick" car a car could get, while my male friend thought it was awesome and couldn't believe that I thought that. It's just an opinion

Mini's are awesome. They would kick your *** at an auto-x and they are quite capable road course vehicles.

Ok since I started this thread I thought I would chime on the "my car is the bestest" posts. I didn't start this thread to bash the MINI, and truth be told, this whole cars.com voting thing is pretty childish.

After looking up the specs on the MINI I'm actually surprised they're that affordable. I thought they started at the Z's price (around $28K).

As for challenging the Zs against the MINIs, what's the point? There's members that I know personally on this forum that are putting 500-600+ to the wheels on their built blocks. I'm not sure why the MINI guy here is trying to stir things up. Do you honestly believe a built FWD 4 cylinder car with half the power is going to beat a built 6 cylinder RWD car?

That's like a Z guy here trying to challenge a F/I built C6/ZO6 let alone a N/A C6/ZO6 ... every car owner should know their limits.

We are in the Championship poll! If we all vote in this one like the last and the Mini owners vote for the Z, it will be a slam dunk. The Beemer will have lost out to the Z by way more than the Minis and the Minis will truly be the second place. That would be magazine worthy. The little Mighty Mini will never be looked at the same, at least not in the US. You have to vote today!
