My ex-boss' sons got arrested a few years ago for snipping at cars with their bb gun. They got caught because they got decided to go shooting 2 days in a row. When people first reported getting shot at, helicopters and at least a dozen cops got on the case immediately.

Not surprisingly, nobody felt bad that those little punks got caught and arrested. These kids had good grades, came from financially secure family...they were just bored and stupid.

 

Them damn snippers! Be careful. They could put your eye right out.

 

Wow OP. That sucks. Little bastards anyway. Don't you wish you could wrap your hands right around their throats?
When I saw this thread title I thought it was a typical teaser thread.
My car got shot.......and then the thread is about a photo shoot.

 

i would so get some of my friends, go find those kids, have my friends hold them down, and i would put their bb gun IN THEIR MOUTH and make them **** blood begging me to stop, then i would take all of the lunch money they have and go buy some mods.

well i took the z to the dealership and they said they don't do body work. But they did recommend Ashburn Collision Center. Does anybody have experience with these guys and if not can anybody recommend a good body shop around the area?

 

man that sucks I remember seeing on the news some kids going around shooting people w/ paint guns and video taping it... well the cops got ahold of that tape and they got arrested I hope the same happens to them

 

they should be tried as adults and not as juvies.

you sure its a BB Gun? thats alot of damage.. kinda looks like it could have been a .22

 

.22 would have went thru the sheet metal. It's really not that thick. I shot and break bricks with my .22

 

wow- i would have been tempted to chase them and call 911 at the same time. it would be so much fun to chase them. you know how scared they would have been? if i had a gun i would have been really tempted to have just destroyed their car.
as for the damage the hole will have to be filled and sanded and the whole panel should be clear coated to do it right. a good body shop will charge around $500. good luck.

About 2 months after i bought my Z was driving home from work, no other cars in sight and..........blap blap blap. About a dozen BB's (all in one big group, like a shotgun) come flying out of a patch of tree's next to the road hitting the windshield dead center in front of my face. Scared the F***ing **** outta me and by the time i stopped the car and pulled off the the road whoever it was had dissapeared into a development. Far as i can guess it was kids with a slingshot loaded with BB's. Put 5-6 nicks into the windshield. Reported it to the police but far as i know nothing came of it.

Probably a good thing they ran off, you get in alota trouble for beating kids up.
