The OP didn't say what year his dad's Z is, but if it is a 2007 he can forget about the Popcharger.

It sounds like it's going to be a JWT PopCharger, Plenum Spacer, Nismo exhaust and tinted windows. I may try and talk him into headers right afterwards. But his Z is a 2005 I believe.

1: 5/16 plenum spacer is a great bang for the $, heres a link to a popular one. http://www.motordyneengineering.com/350Z.asp also some ppl said the MREV2, as an 05, id stick with just the spacer, it will yeild the bulk of gain on your year, while the mrev2 will add most on revup engines(300 hp motor found in the 06s)
2: at 60, if he doesn't want a blaring loud exhuast, the borla true dual is close to stock in the low rpms and livens up higher, not sure about power,(prob getting it for sound anyways) but some should be gained. (heres one with a CAI&plenumspacer) http://youtube.com/watch?v=58tkt7T5SrQ
3: JWT popcharger, most peoples first mod, easy install, can wash it, little performance, great sound.

It's easy - Nismo floor mats, Nismo oil cap, and Nismo radiator cap. Combined, they're good for 50whp

In all seriousness, you(or your dad)should get:

1. JWT Pop charger
2. Motordyne Plenum Spacer
3. Nismo Exhaust - TRUST me on this, your dad will LOVE the sound.

THE END OF DISCUSSIONNNNNNNNNNN

haha, ur avatar caught my eye and i had to look twice at it.

TPs will liven up the exhaust a whole lot, u own a supra though, so prob know that. HFCs will up the volume, but retain no rasp, a good option to not be forced to mess with emissions every year or play with the CEL light.

Happy that you have a sense of humour. Choices for the 350Z are similar to the Supra (except the plenum spacer thing).
