You are ZERO help to this thread. Do you even know what this thread is about? It's a guy from TEXAS who is buying a car from a snowy region. He's looking for anything he might have to worry about in buying a car from an area with snow. He doesn't plan on driving in the snow.

depends on what part of minnesota it's from. a lot of places in minnesota use more salt than others, and believe me they use a lot of salt up here. probably shouldn't be to bad as long as the owner washed it once in a while. you should be ok.

I worry and that's why I don't drive mine for 5mths of the year when the snow/salt is on the ground.

I don't think it's really a big issue for newer cars (Z 2003+) as it takes more than a few winters to show damage.

The previous owner of my Z drove it in the winter but had it oil sprayed. Plus the winter in Toronto is not really bad at all. Rarely snow on the ground.

I'd be more scared of cracked bumpers and salt stains inside the vehicle. Get them to send you pics!
