Hey ColecatZ, I didn't choose Daytona Blue because I wanted a "look at me race car look." I just wanted something a little different. If people happen to look at me then that would be icing on the cake!

Please don't take offense.....I was refferring more to the car than to the personalities of the owners and didn't mean to insenuate (sp?) anything negative by it...The Daytona Blue will be a vortex into which all attention will be pulled from a mile away. It is a gorgeous color. I wanted something more subtle, a sort of sneak up on you with class...type color. If there hadn't been a SS option, I would have pounced on the blue. The way I see it we are all lucky. Imagine how lucky the folks that don't get one now may be if there is a Yellow one later. If any color would make me rethink the "subtle-fast" approach and trade mine in......it would be yellow or midnight blue.
take care

Daytona Blue
I personally like all the colors, but since I ordered Daytona Blue, I am obviously biased towards it - unless of course Nissan begins to offer that 10,000 paint job on the Z from the car show circuit unveiled in November in Japan/January in the US Wishful thinking...

Zon?!
Now Zon, if ya pull only part of my quote out, it seems silly! Of course people want to answer this thread if they ordered Silverstone!
I went on to say that I'm here praising the color not just because I ordered it. This color is different in that it takes on different shades. As someone stated earlier, sometimes in certain lighting the car looks chrome, sometimes a dark charcoal, other times a bronze or greenish hue. THAT is the great thing about this color. Even those of us who have ordered it have seen pics that we have a hard time discerning which silver it really is...
But thanks for responding to my post Zon! Next time use the whole quote will ya?! Oh and Zon, Daytona Blue is epic, also!

I think everbody wanted something different, I've had a Desert Gray (silver in some light, gold in others) car for about 4 years now. The Silverstone looks fine, which again changes colors according to lighting but wanting something different hence...Sunset!
