Default Is This A Good Deal?

my friend will sell me his used ( i think he's had it for a year ) greddy evo II cat back 2.5" exhaust for 450 bucks.
now here is the kicker im in iraq right now so ill have to pay pal him or send a check in the mail and ill have to have a freind that know's nothing about cars to pick it up for me and store it. and while he was in afghanistan he used me as a scapegoat to divorce his wife saying that she cheated on him with me. which i didnt and is besides the point of this thread. so im not sure if can trust him 100%. what do you think i should do? i really want an exhaust cause im really anxious to put some more mods on the car.

If he's a good friend then he'll put it aside for you and do the sale when you get back.

You're about to do business with a man who accused his wife of cheating on him with you? Are you nuts?

+1 If I had a good friend that wanted a part from me, I would definitely keep it on hold and still hook him up. Doesn't sound like he's that close, and why does he need you to pay him at this moment? Is it an emergency situation or something?

see, he's moving to fort irwin in ca and needs the money. thats the thing. and im not to sure if he actually belives that she cheated with me. cause i know before that he wanted to get out of the relationship. i think so he could spend all his deployment money on his Z.

your posting of this thread shows that your instinct is telling you not to make this deal... listen to your gut, you will never go wrong... it's impatience and impulsiveness that cause us to make bad decisions and go against what we know inside to be truth... don't let your desire overwhelm your instinct...
