Alright.. so check this out. The email address he originally gave me was Ayankees2772@aol.com. I was just browsing the classified and another u/n caught my eye... Ayankees2772... who has been banned. It turns out he was permabanned in June/06. WTF? (I found it because another member was checking to see if the item was still available from last year.)

Sorry man. You seem to have more than your share of bad luck with this car.

for the oil.

 

What's the deal with your oil consumption Z? I also have a 2006 Z and with only 2100 miles on it, I noticed that the car was 2 entire quarts low on oil as well. Hopefully, I won't have to go through the same crap with mine!!!

I do seem to have a certain amount of bad luck with cars historically. I must have run a chopshop in my former life or something.

I've contacted MrPratt (mod) who sold this guy something in January but haven't heard back yet.

 

All that bad luck with your Z and you're going to get a new '07. Ain't no way in Hell I'm buying another Nissan vehicle after this Z. The Z is my 3rd and last Nissan. Hopfully you'll have better luck with the '07.

 

I've had bad luck with other models too....Chevy engine heatsoaked every 30 miles, Pontiac went through 12 alternators and two window motors in 11 months, Toyota was totalled by an international uninsured driver the day before my wedding, Scion had horrible roof rattling got sick of it and lost my *** on it, and now the Z... doh!

Still though, I love the car and with the right engine I'll be very happy.

Back to the matter at hand... I think I'm just going to dispute the payment.

Update: He PM'd me two days ago giving me a list of reasons as to why the item is still sitting in his garage and offered a refund. It's two days later... no refund and he has still yet to reply to the PayPal dispute. Nice.

Yeah, Andrew, I got your PM and the email from Paypal that it's pending funding confirmation. Hopefully this will be over soon. You really oughtta stay away from selling stuff if you can't follow through. We're all busy.
