I've not had any problems driving the Z in the rain - even with the stock RE040s.

Glad to hear that you survived with 'minor' injuries.

those pics scared the crap out of me. i'm glad you were able to limp/walk away.
good to see the z's a safe car when it comes to bad accidents...wish they didn't happen, though.

eh, when I had my stockers on the car, and they were low tread, I had a few close calls. I have never been scared to drive on the highway in rain before the Z. Granted, Once I got good tires in the rear, she drives like a champ no matter what...but I can see where it could snag someone by surprise.

That being said, since I knew mine got really loose in the rain, I always took extreme care when driving in the rain, I do think that decent(smart) driving could prevent many of these wrecks.
