Default Best place to complain about service department issues?

Anyone have a link or can point me in the right direction? I've been having issue after issue with a nissan service department. One simple thing leads to a screw up, which leads to another screw up, so on and so forth. This service department has been operating totally unprofessionally and unacceptably by just about any standard. I've already talked to the service manager and it's as good as pissing in the wind. How can I go above him?

The owner of the dealership by registered letter..........worked for me very well. Got a new replacement car one month after the body shop sprayed my undercarriage and front rims while trying to fix a scratch on the front bumper cover.......had my car four days when this happened.

I have found it really does not matter. You're just one person to them and they already have your money from selling you the car.

Consumer Affairs will not do anything, but give you empathy. The typical response is that they will note it, but every dealership is independently owned.

I would stick with dragging them through the dirt on the internet and through word of mouth.

NISSAN / INFINITI Consumer Affairs...

they are in touch with dealers ALL the time...

they can do alot actually... If they tell the dealer to do something... they have to do it...

Don't forget to name the dealership so people can steer clear of them.

Lokey Nissan and Ferman of New Port Richey have two horrendous service departments in my area.

I'm sorry to say that I'm over 50 yrs old. The only dealer that qualifies as having good service is my Lexus dealer, Superior Lexus, KC. When you buy a Z, you buy it because it's a cool car, not for the dealer. When we were shopping for our Z, each Nissan dealer said they had excellent service and would take good care of us. I told them I wasn't born yesterday and once they had our money, we become a nuisance. I'm checking into the possibility of a local performance shop that can do warranty work. Anybody know of one in KC?

I had a similar problem when I first bought my Z. The service department was polite enough, but just not fixing the problems I had. I called the dealership and asked to "speak with the owner" since I didn't know his name. I was given the run-around and just transferred to the general manager I had already spoken with.

Next, I called a different Nissan dealer in the area, asking if they knew the owner of the dealership I had problems with. They were HAPPY to oblige, and gave his name, and direct line.

I called the owner directly, calmly stated my problems and explained the source of my frustrations, and he bent over backwards to make things right.

Let us all know who they are so fellow members can AVOID them. Also you get that survey after service. ...

I am having a problems with Sheehy Nissan where I recently had a new clutch and flywheel installed. First of all they misdiagnoised my problem I did not need a clutch or a flywheel, what I really needed was a pedal adjustment. After 3 week in the shop and 5 different mechanics thay still could not repain my Z. I had to have it towed to another to get satifaction and ofcouse they still charged me for labor eventhough they did not know how to repair my vehcile. *** Mike in Maryland... Mad as He**.. I have logged a complaint with Nissan consumer affairs.

Definitely take it up with the owner... usually you'll get the secretary but it gets taken care of.
