Is this normal? Are stock tires to blame?
You should take a class before going that fast!

Are you lifting on the throttle mid-turn and getting back on it?

The re050a's are great and come stock on all 07 z's. A few things come to mind:

1. How many miles are on your car? All the suspension parts, including shocks are not broken in until about 1500 miles or so. everything's breaking in... bushings, heim-joint drop-links, even your tires need a while to break in depending on how you drive them.

2. The 07 suspension is way softer than the even the 06, which was softer than the rest. I think different springs and shock would help here...

3. The 225/245 tire combo is a bit on the small size for a car of this weight

4. Vehicle dynamics change drastically at high speeds. Bumps in the road (or even slight rises) that seem minor at 70 MPH will have even more negative effects on your car at 100+ mph.

But the HPDE is your best money spent. Be careful out there.

stock tires most likely to blame.
