I agree - full inspection with estimate and present her with the estimate. She can decide what to do. If she stalls or delays even once, report it to your insurance company. If you let her stall you once, almost a guarantee she will try to stall twice and on and on... The longer the damage stays, the longer you will be pissed off about it...

+ 1 on both. The bumper will take the knock and pop back out, but there maybe residual damage. Get it checked out properly. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Spoke to her today letting her know it needs to be repaired. She offered to just pay for it without going through her insurance, so I'll have to get a quote for her. She did also wanna take a look at it which is fine with me. Basically there are two scratches on each side of the bumper about 20 inches apart also the center of the bumper is scuffed to the point where parts of it look white upon close inspection and the paint is no longer smooth in that area. I must admit black hides it very well but its obvious its been hit upon closer inspection. I half wanna just say screw it and live with it to avoid the hassle but I somehow know im gonna regret doing that later on.

I'll probably end up having to go get a quote at lunch and get the car looked at just in case. Over the phone the dealer said it'll most likely be around 300-400 to repaint it if they dont have to remove the bumper. However, 500-600 if they have to remove it.

Make sure the remove the entire bumper and paint the whole thing.
If your going to get it fixed do it right and do it once, that way you won't regret it later.

Hope it works out

Cheers

i had something similar happen to me years ago. Some young hot girl I worked with hit my parked car in the front end. The damage looked minor but I went and got 3 estimates because she didn't want it turned into her insurance.

It was a huge hassle getting cash out of her to get it fixed.

good luck I hope you have better luck than I did.

Yes sorry for that uncharacteristic outburst but it is too soon, it's way too soon.

EDIT: Sorry to anyone else, not the little **** who said it.

So what? Did you/do you go to VT?
I live in Charlotte, some kid help up a couple other kids at a school yesterday then drove to a gas station and shot himself. Sad? Yes. Matter to me? Not much.

$424 is the quote for repainting the front.

She wants to take a look at the car this afternoon so whatever, probably just go through her insurance if she tries to string me along. Not to mention Im still pissed, was about to send my lights to mr.zipps yesterday when this happened.
