She wants to take a look at the car this afternoon so whatever, probably just go through her insurance if she tries to string me along. Not to mention Im still pissed, was about to send my lights to mr.zipps yesterday when this happened.
My guess is shes going to look at it and try to tell you that its not that bad and you can't even tell it.

get ready for a fight. Let us know how it works out.

Well I'll know shortly, but she has spoken to another coworker about it and already knows the amount. From what I here she's cool with it, but you never know.

Default Just go thru insurance.....

The bumper needs to be taken off, and painted plus you need to have the impact foam and clips, checked to make sure the front bumper has not been compromised.....

my 2 cents....

yeah...spider-webs will be forming by guess. Hard to say if there is any other damage...you will have to take it to a body shop and ask them to take a look at it...but unfortunetly unless they remove the front bumper, they won't know what damage has been done. If anything maybe the foam absorber.

Nah, I'm lazy... still haven't taken any pics. The front looks good in my opinion at stock height... but the rear is... ehhh. Needs to come down half or a full inch. I was leaning towards getting some hotchkis springs but once I saw evolved's 07 with Hotchkis looking slammed with mad camber, I figured I'd wait it out until more members posted thier lowering results. Word around the campfire is the rubber deally that holds the spring is back to it's original size before the 06's, so you can't really go with 06 stuff either. Pretty ghey. I'll PM you some pics whenever I get around to taking some ;p

Seriously I hope she doesn't tell her insurance company that you started your car and ran into her!

Going through her insurance, hopefully that'll be the end of the story.

Biggest waste of time ever.

Wouldn't feel guilty at all about doing whatever you need to to get your Z back in good condition. This coming from a guy who paid 660 to replace the rear bumper of a Corrola few months ago(still think the person i hit coulda looked for a lower qoute....). But people deserve to not have there possesions that they spent hard earned money on tarnished by others.

Unless you live in Europe where everyone just buys POS's and bumper cars their way into parking spots.

well weeks later my car still isnt fixed.

Insurance company wouldnt pay for the repaint until they tried to buff it. Well they tried to buff it and it didnt help. Not only that but when the bodyshop looked at it they noticed there was a big *** gap between the headlight and the bumper.

The gap is present on both sides but more extreme on the passenger side. Further more they said theyy're not sure they can fix it. So I get a call from the adjuster and he starts bsing me telling me its probably due to the bumpers material and the heat outside thats causing it to flex. I proceed to tell him Im not buying anything hes saying and I want my car fixed. He tried to tell me he went to the nissan dealer to look at other Z's and the gaps were there, WTF ? These gaps arnt minor they are 1/4 inch in places.

After all that he tries to offer me an appearance allowance of $150. I refused that cause honestly anyone can tell the car has been hit. Either way I took the car to another shop they quoted the repair work including repainting and prepping at 375. I faxed that over to the insurance adjuster and am awaiting a response.

Oh a little off topic but apparently someone at my work tried to convince the girl that hit me to say she didnt and not pay. Wonderful people I work with...

Dude... what a bunch of BS. What insurance company does this girl you work with have? Sucks for you and her if... god forbid, anything ever happens to her car in the employee parking lot... This has taken far too long to be resolved. It sounds like you need a new bumper cover and styrofoam insert to me. Added cost of a rental car for the duration it is in the shop should cost her insurance $1000-ish by the time they get done with the paint and installation. Her insurance co. FTL!!!

On a side note... go here if you wanna see an 07 dropped with Tein S Techs. I know you were curious before about lowering your car. I'm thinking about going this route.
