Traction on wet roads is dependent upon the tire for the most part, not the car. For example, I am riding on some fairly wide Nitto 555's and they absolutely suck in the wet.
With a RWD car with some power, just be very easy on the throttle, drive failry slowly, especially thru the turns, leave a safe distance from the car in front of you and so on and so forth.
