Default What's Happening?

What's going on now? Before about 1 year ago, I used to see Z's on the street and used to check out each others car, wave or whatever. and now, you see a Z and all they want to do is race you! I mean from what I have seen "before" only 4bangers did that to each other, but now when I see a Z... they rev their engine and keep looking straight (thinkin they're bad@***), or take off all quick.

1 out of 10 Z's I see actually compliments and acts mature when they see another Z.

WHY!!?!?

More Z's made = more Z's in the used market= cheaper Z's available= more "younger" drivers = "omgz lest street race fast and furious" = more crashing

I continue to wave to other Z owners unless it's an old lady. I've run into quite a few of those grannies driving the 5AT roadsters. But cheers to them

Fast n Furious is a little to blame. Incidentally, that franchise increased the demand for Supras too.

^^that equation is mathematically correct.. A newly purchased Touring model in 2003 was 40k. Now, well, it's considerably less. Especially if you're looking at the base model.

I dont completely agree with the younger kids only thing... definitely cocky kids with Z's out there but I also notice a lot of drivers that think they own the road. Im sorry but a Z is a car, like every other one out on the road. If it wasnt for the idiot who didnt pay attention my last car would not have been totalled. I have seen a lot of tuners out there including Z's who constantly come out on the roads to just get a rush by beating another car or driving erratic and showing off. Personally there is nothing like crusin in a Z and enjoying it, rather than harrass other people on the road. My dad used to drive his porsche relatively slow compared to most people and his excuse was "why drive so fast, let other people enjoy the car as well".

+1. I do this too. It's cool to get a little traffic jam around you on the freeway.

I don't know damn it, but I am very concerned as well!
I am going to start shopping around for a car that everybody will wave at me in and where nobody will rev their engine at me.

He recently purchased a 350z for $19k and used his truck as a trade in which brought the fianance price for him down to $12k. He is also upset that many people he see in a Z don't respect him because he is so young compared to them. His car is currently in the body shop as well for one reason or another, my assumption is either an aggressive body kit or he has already wrecked it.
