i had a 2003 svt cobra with every mod made 550rwhp 560ptq on race gas. you could the exhaust a mile away and the blower 2 miles away. it ran 10.90s all day. i would race gsxr 1000's and have them ****ting bricks when they saw me pass them. but i love my Z more. who knows i dont miss it

 

cause your Z can go around corners not just in a strait line.....

 

Probably cuz you can turn without worrying about flipping over :-P

 

Most cars require more than 500-600rwhp to whoop up on liter bikes...

 

Because its a Ford....duh!

My friends 06 GSX-R1000 ran 9.70 @ 145mpm slipon mod only.

 

I used to own a 99 Mustang GT
and i had a choice between gettin a 03 Cobra or 03 350z

i choose the Z just cuz i like the way it handle and the power was better then my GT. So i wasnt complaining.

I still hang out with my domestic buddies but also make new friends lol.

Only thing i miss is how my GT sounded loud and nice.

 

i cant explain it either. i had a 2000 mustang gt that ran 12's (i know that's a big differance from yours) but i sold it for the z and even though the mustang was faster in a straight line, and like yours it was loud as hell and i loved it (bbk equal length shorties and off road x pipe, with magnapack catback)....but if i had to do it again, i would've still sold the stang in a heartbeat for the z

 

i was a street racer as gay as that sounds driver was every thing.long story short when his front end poped up and he freaked i would be to far in front to pass.

 

Thats a beastly cobra, props to that. Good thing the Z is so damn sexy.

 

After driving my dad's Z32-TT for a few days while my car was in the body shop, I started to miss the boost sensation. The oompf isn't there anymore. :-(

 

I was going to say something like this to answer another's question about how you used to beat 1000's, those bikes are no joke. It isnt the easiest thing to race a 1000 on the street, and just because someones friend ran a 9.70 doesnt mean that every guy on a 1000 can run that....btw what did that cobra trap??

You have any pictures of your cobra sounds like a beast.Good move going with the Z both cars are awesome stangs are alot more mod friendly. In the end 2 totally different cars.
