Default Should I or Shouldn't I?

I have been seriously considering buying a new Performance model, but am a little concerned about talk of people having to get new transmissions and problems with the seats, etc. What does everyone think? What would you do? Should I go ahead and get one (one of the local dealers has the exact one I want in stock) or should I just relax and wait until the 2004s come out and hope all the minor problems are fixed?

Thanks for the help, the site is very informative.

Go buy the car. I've had mine for 4 months, 2100 miles....zippo problems.

Issues get magnified on here because we are a bunch of fanantics. Plus guys with problems will always speak up more than guys w/o problems.

Any car may/will have some issue.

It seems that most of the problems occur with the earliest built models....I haven't had any of the problems with mine *knocking on wood*. Mine has a build date of November 2002. Check the build date and if it is later 02 or newer, you should be fine.
