First a word of kudos to my dealer as they are now trying to get info out there. This is the second unsolicited call in the last three weeks.

My salesman called with my build date saying it would be in September- GREAT! What puzzled me was that when he gave me the tracking number it began with a W1799XX. The W didn't make sense with a Sept build but neither does the numbering following from what I have seen. What do you guys think?

I plan on stopping by tomorrow to see it with my own eyes and also to see what may be coming in a little sooner. If anything new pops up I'll pass it along.

September BUILD might be November delivery. We've seen up to T with August Build and October delivery. So i'm assuming...

R - August/Early Sept Delivery
S - September Delivery
T - October Delivery
W - November Delivery (?)

Yes, the Japenese alphabet does not have "U" or a "V." Who knows, we are all so in the dark here. Nissan must have us confused with mushrooms.

Did you see the cars.com review? All cars will be delivered, supposedly, by end of October:

"Suckow said he hopes the pre-orders, which should well exceed 7,000 by the time you read this, will be filled by the end of October." from car.com.

November shouldn't even be on our radar.

Can anybody figure out how the numbers following the letter jump back down to the 17's from the T's that are in the 30's I think?

He HOPES the pre-orders will be filled by then...Nissan also hoped that they would get some cars out in August, but obviously they didn't have that happen either. Don't the more recent confirmation letters have a September - November window??
