No No NO!! Please dont wish that on him. You never want your car found if its stolen, cuz then insurance wont replace it for a new one and your stuck with your car that for all you know the perps drove around in 1st gear at 6200rpm for 200 miles, etc.

Theifs dont drive your car to and fro the grocery store at cruising speeds. Most likely, they redline it, race it, take it offroad, smoke crack in it, rob a liquor store in it, etc.

There is a rev limiter on the Z that will not let the rpms get that high, but you better believe a theif is going to be pinging on the rev limiter the entire time. Thanks for playing!

From my expirience... I just bought a 2005 Tahoe Z71... It was stolen in Texas early 2006 and recoverd a couple months later completley stripped out. Insurance had already bought the owner a new car at that point so insurance sold it to a company that restores stolen cars. Needless to say I got a great deal on a fairly nice car.

Long story short.. Hopefully it stays missing for about a month.. Best of luck with everything.

BTW if you do end up finding it and its stripped out I would love to buy it from you.

The thing that really gets me is the graduation presents that were sitting in the trunk/glove box. I loved the car, no denying that, and it was a damn lot of work getting it, but at the end of the day I could go out and buy another one. What really gets me is like the cards and the 100 bucks my cousin sent me and the electric razor and iron and stuff. **** like that you just can't replace.

The other thing is, now that I've calmed down about the car, I'm getting really nervous about staying at my place. I called the landlord and yelled at him for about 15 minutes and proceeded to put new locks on the doors and bolt the windows down. I don't really feel safe anymore.

Which is why I'm saving up for this:

I'd never have to use it, the sound alone would have a would-be thief shi*ting himself and begging forgiveness.

And Drew, your popcharger was in the car. I just got a K&N kit to clean and re-oil it, too.

Hey man, don't let this get to you. When I was at school some idiot had the ***** to break into my house when 6 of us were home sleeping, just so he could steal 100 DVDs. At first I was nervous about someone breaking into my place regardless of the reason, but pretty soon I got over it. I'm glad your landlord at least changed your locks and everything...mine refused to.

In any case, try and look at the bright side...your graduating and starting a whole new life...AND can get a NEW car!

Mossberg with pistol grip and top folding stock. They're rock n' roll. My uncle has one that I used to shoot from time to time. It is a little tricky and you have to hold onto the pump pretty hard so it doesn't fly out of your hands.

Hopefully, though, I'd never have to actually use it even if an intruder came in. They say that the sound of a pump action shotgun is one of the most distinctive sounds in the world and most thieves will just run as soon as they hear it.

I might go old school though
