Sup guys, I am new to the site and I will be purchasing a Z within the next week. Just waiting on finalizing some paper work. I'm actually buying it from a member here. Well anyways, how come I keep getting negative feedback from ppl about this car? Everyones like "Ah, that car sux. blah blah blah" It's really getting annoying and starting to **** me off. Everyone expects this thing to handle like an Enzo or something.

 

350's suck FYI. Get yourself a farm truck and spend the rest of your cash on hookers and beer.

Seriously, we need more people like you to buy things from members. I've sold and bought a few cars from other members and it's just a much better deal than you'll get anywhere else (most times). Good luck home slice!

cmon dude, do you really care about what anyone says about your car choice?. If you're buying it to impress other people you arent buying it for the right reasons...and thus should not be buying it.

Yep, freeway killas with good top end. It's kinda hard to launch it because of FWD though

peopel think a 350z is on par with a eclipse or focus and cars like that...

buy it and show them. most frequent comment from other 350z owners: 'your car is NA??? it is really strong for a NA Z' do it right.

 

Lemme guess...you're getting negative feedback from Sti, Evo, Hundah, Mazduh, Mustang owners yeah? Depends on what you want the car for mate. If you want it to blow away your sti friends in the 1/4 mile, it probably won't happen unless your magic 8 ball says "F/I in the immediate future for YOU!" If you want it for sheer driving enjoyment, as well as a really satisfying track experience...I'd say go for the Z. I was debating between the RX8 and the Z back in 04. It was a close decision, but I went with the 350z track. No regrets whatsoever...and she's getting faster every week

 

Cmon dude, I don't give a sh*t about what they think. I'm just saying that it pisses me off. I told a friend at work that I was getting one and he was like "F that, my boy's dad had one and got rid of it in a month" His boys dad is a vette enthusiast thats usto driving his new ZO6 and thinks the Z should be just as equal performance wise. I'm just gonna vent to the next punk that gives off a stupid comment on a car they know absolutly nothing about.

From all the forums that I have been to I think Evo owners dog Z the most. They think Evo is untouchable because you can make good power for cheap

Evos are surely fast even with little money spent on mods, but it's ugly as fu*k.
I hope the OP is not being narrow-minded and only considering performance aspect of a car.
It's all about a combination of looks and performance..unless you want an Evo
