Exclamation safe....?

i just bought my z about a week ago (black 04 enthusist).. im goin to spend about a grand i saved up on performance parts this week.. im just curious what kind of negative affects this could have as far as reliability with my car.. its my daily car... i get about 85-100 miles in it a day and dont want to risk any major problems... right now im lookin at cold air intake, new exhaust and plenum spacer's but i still have not made up my mind and may end up looking at some completly diff. things in this price range... any thoughts?

not really any major reliability issues to worry about with simple bolt-ons...

some would say our car is not THAT bolt-on friendly ... mod what you feel and mod right.

if its your daily driver just save up for nice rims and a drop. Your not going to feel much of anything from those 3 mods, believe me, I have the same stuff.

Unless you go inside the motor, bolt-on mods are pretty reliable. You may have CEL headaches, and rattles from poor installation (exhaust), but that’s about it.

Do the intake and exhuast and get the car breathing better. It will sound good and you will notice it slightly.

Bolt ons work for many people.

You'll see a slight drop in time in the quarter mile, but you won't feel it as much daily driving. You'll be faster, but it's nothing to butt dyno, since TQ is not really gained from bolt ons like a turbo application.

However, you can make your car sound nice, and handle better.
