Maybe some greens, yellows, dark reds, dark blues, etc....
and stop making the silvers....there's too many already!

Honestly, I find nothing special in blue, or any shade thereof. Hell even Lemans Sunset is not unique or special IMO, just somewhat different.
I think Nissan should sell Zs in whatever color sells the cars. If blue or red don't sell, then stop selling it. If blue sells the car, then that's what they need to make.

My favorite colors are Corvette colors:
Dark Red Metallic (much better than Brickyard and as one of my friends descibed it... "delicious")

Dark Navy Metallic (I was disappointed Nissan didn't offer a darker blue, although GM stopped this color on vettes too.)

Light Pewter Metallic (This is definitely a different shade of silver that you don't see on other types of cars, I'm hoping silverstone will be as pleasing)

It had 'THE' chevy small block V-8, 283 cubic inch with the 2 spd Powerglide auto transmission. For you younger members, this small-block is the direct ancestor of the LS1, etc. in the Corvette and numerous other applications in Chevrolet cars. I digress.
The yellow and green colors were actually pretty tasteful to most of the incredible crap that appeared in the 50's. It was a terrific car of its time; ran smooth, reasonably quick(it was big) and you could seat 6 people just fine and reliable as a tank.
I kept it for a year without problems and traded it in on my 1965 BRG Triumph TR4(great fun car, endless problems and I loved it) but the 59 chevy will always be remembered most for outrunning an 1958 MG Midget on a westbound sweeping curve leading down Route 66(now I40) into Albuquerque, N.Mex. at 90 mph in a 4 wheel drift in the dark. Dumbest thing I have ever done in any car before or since.
Boomer--color =stream of consciousness about OLD car. Oh, it was the one that had huge cat's eye shaped tail lights. Uh, huh.

I think they should stop making Chrome silver (just because thats the color I got ).
Seriously though, when the Z32 came out in 1990, it seemed like the silver cars everywhere and you rarely saw another color. Now its just the opposite! I rarely see a silver Z.
Just like you could only get the prowler in the show car purple on the first year, it would be really cool if there were one year colors for the Z.
Since chrome silver is a stock color, I have little hope that it will disappear soon. Maybe I'll have to brake down and get that ferrarri fly yellow color change done to my car after all.
Next time I have $10K lying around I'll consider it

I am still think there should be some sort of commrevrative plaque in all the pre order cars. The number of the pre order would be nice. How cool with that be. The market is going to be flooded with 30000 of these bad boys a year, but the 6500 early fanatics will always have something to show our dedication to this car. Come on Nissan, just this one more thing.

M3 yellow and Z colors
When I first saw that color at an autoshow (M3 yellow) I
asked the guy if its a stock color. Its somewhere between a chartruese and gold. The M3 Blue is also really unique..
For the Z I think the Lemans Sunset is really an unique and exceptional color. Orange is a historic color for the Z
(at least for the 240). I hope they don't get rid of it, becuase its
what I will choose if I manage to get a Z next year.
The thing about the 350Z is that it looks dynamite in almost
any color.
If I had to choose a new color I'd go with a candy apple green..
(closer to yellow than blue) or the bright yellow available for the first year 300ZX. I think a very dark gray (Anthracite Coal Metallic)
would look great also.
If I had to drop a color I'd drop the redline color.. The bright Red is good for a curvy classic car, The Z is high-tech looking
and looks better in rich mettalics. Of course, to each their own
