Here's mine.
Too bad Nissan provides those little dimples (thread starters). Otherwise, mine is clean:

Personally, I'm not a gambler, and I don't see the point of giving a cop any reason for stopping me.

IMO, drivers talking on their cell phones should get pulled over first. Missing front plates don't cause accidents...
i'm mad cuz i got a fixit ticket last week.

I live in California...the law says we have to have the front license plates on but I'm not sure when that law actually went into affect. All I know is I've only recieved one front plate missing ticket since I've had my 94 Civic Coupe(bought new in 1994 and still drive it) and it was given to me by a total d*ckhead motorcycle cop in Vallejo down near the waterfront 3 years ago. This is a guy who actually gives jaywalking tickets to people crossing the street to get to the ferry in the morning and he's notorius for being a total a hole. I don't run front plates on my Z or BMW either and have never been stopped. Even had a highway patrol point the radar gun at me on the highway yesterday in the Z(only going 65 right then...whew!) who had to have seen i didn't have a front plate and didn't care. I am in my mid 30's now so maybe age has something to do with it...but it seems like unless you're doing something stupid the plate isn't the only reason they pull you over.(with the exception of that a hole near the waterfront of course)

I wouldn't quite say that...but I have to say..I've lived here all my life and the cops do seem to have gotten worse. That being said...I avoid traveling city streets a lot these days...I'll take the highway and go a little out of my way just to travel less on the streets. American Canyon, right next to us, is much worse from what I hear. They are a much smaller town and I think the cops there are trying to bring a lot of money in thru traffic stops. I avoid driving there almost completely.

Do most threads require front plates? I live in Arkansas and I dont even think you could get one here if you wanted too (not that anyone would).

Just made me think of a great idea for a custom front plate:

CNSRD or something to that effect

I have a Z bracket like product. Yes, I do run the plate on the front most of the time. Especially, when I go to events. When I get there I take it off. When I'm drive to and from the plate is on. However, most of the time the plate is off as my city is pretty cool about such things. However, with the photo enforcement I think my days are numbered. ;-)

This is a picture with my old personalized plate. I decided I didn't want to draw attention so that is gone now as well:

Tru dat !!! Stealth is the name of the game in my book. The fewer the tickets the more toys / cars I can own.

i ran my first 50,000 miles without one. I'm running one now because some a hole decided to back into my bumper and put a dent right where the plate is. The dent pisses me off more than the plate right now. I'm getting a new bumper, and I'll probably go back to no plate. However, I do believe running it avoided me getting a compound ticket in San Francisco. I didn't turn my wheels into the curb enough so some revenue-generating extortionist cop gave me a $35 ticket. Probably would have been more without the plates.

Cops have become nothing more than the mob - where every car they see is like a small business to shake down (ala Tony Soprano) to support their huge pentions and salaries ($100+ K here in SF and San Jose.)

I know, you gotta love how well cops get paid...

Like in Dublin: NOTHING happens in Dublin. NOTHING. A 70 year old drunk korean guy pulls a knife out 100 feet away from the cops and they blast him to pieces, and the innocent bystander in a window because they can't aim for ****. Their starting salary? $75,000 (that was 4 years ago, probably more now)

Anyway, what do you guys think of the 2005 performance 350z price? Is 23,900 too high? I tried asking this question on the Buying/Leasing forum but didn't get any replies..
