im in WI.. there is a law about having one but they cant pull you over for not having one UNLESS you have the bracket.. so no bracket no ticket.. unless they decide to do you for some thing else and just tack on the no plate fine..... DOH!

front plates are for law abiding citizens. They look horrible on a bodykit. Just have to watch out for the cops. I'd only have one on it it was a stock bumper and the holes were there already

never had a front plate on my Z since I got it back from the dealer last year. Still got two holes in the bumper, but they are very small and hardly noticeable.

with plate mods
i have one with the z bracket and i trimmed my plate down with some sheet metal snips. i think it looks great, and my front bumper only has little indents where you would drill the bumper for a standard mount plate.

No plate for me.
To me it sure seems that right past Vallejo is a police nightmare. One ticket for exhaust on my old civic, one ticket for going 72 (everyone else going 82) on my old integra, and one ticket that I got away from. This is on both sides of the I-80.

No plate even though Texas requires it. If you are worried about the LAW then you can zip tie the plate to your grill..doesn't look bad, and it is VERY cost effective lol.

I did an observation. It was rush hour, I tried to count how many cars had no front plates on my way back home. 5 blocks later, I counted 13... 13!!! That doesn't even count the cars I couldn't see on my right side. I came to the conclusion that I will have no front plates either =]

I had one but then got a new bumper as a result of an accident. Used the Zee Bracket for about a week but took it off and put my billet grille back on. I figure if I get pulled over for it, I'll get another zee bracket for the fix-it ticket appearance. I figure to use zip ties when I go on runs.

i see an average of at least one w/o a front plate for every block i travel here i live. i would say about three during rush hours for each block.
