Default My neighbors think I am crazy.

I have had the 2007 Z for about 3 weeks. Washed 5 times. Everytime it has rained I have been out there washing it the next day. And every single day after driving it I at least wipe all the bugs off it. My wife says the neighbors must think I am nuts. I said, nah they just dont understand.

Thats what I am thinking. But the washes are just soakers more or less. To get the dust and dirt off it after a rain.

Everyone used to ask if my 03 was a brand new car! I washed it twice a week.

When I first met one of my neighbors recently he asked if I detailed cars for a living because he always sees me cleaning my Z, my truck or my wife's car.

I almost had an Fn heart attack the other day. My 6 yr old daughter was out in the front yard playing. I heard the hose go on. I didnt think anything of it, then it dawned on me. She saw me washing the car the day before. So I go outside and see her with my microfiber mit and some water getting ready to wash the car. I ran over to her and swiped it from her hands. Low and behold it had some sand on it(she dropped it on the ground).

Lets just say her and I had a long heart to heart that night. LOL

Kids, I know they wanna help. But damn, not the Z

It doesn't matter what weather.com says, it never fails to rain after a good car wash The sky can be blue w/o a cloud in sight, but as soon as you get done, it'll cloud up and the bottom falls out.

At least that's my experience it seems like.

It hasn't rained here in SoCal for the past X months. We need the rain bad! Rumor has it they may impose a NO WASHING AUTOMOBILE law that would not allow people to wash their cars at home. Yikes..See things can be worst in So California..

We had a drought like that in Jersey a few years ago. You know what people did? They watered their lawns at night. You could tell who was doing it and who wasn't by looking at the dead lawns haha.
