They should be working if you have it set to "door" and/or try pushing them in to use as reading lights. Something is amiss. Check fuses? Check the bulbs?

there is a sliding switch in the ceiling console that says whether they are all on, all off, or on when doors are open. but the 2 lights up there should go on when you push them, as well as the trunk one should go on when you open the trunk.

Sounds like your BCM (body control module) is bad.

Mine was the same way.

Talking about interior lights, any one know how to turn off the light in the rear hatch area that turns on when the hatch is open?? I'll be at a local event where the hatch will be open about 10-12 hours.. I really don't need a dead battery from that little light..

Any one know how?? Short of removing the bulb??

Thanks in advance..

Should not take long. it is behind the panel that has the fuse box access. Do take all your keys and remotes with you as they will need to be reprogrammed.

BTW - All lights will only stay on for a maximum of 20 minutes before the BCM turns them off to save battery after key is removed from ignition.

If they have the part it should take an hour. It took them two to do mine but I was back there shooting the breeze with them and letting them run though Consult II with me. The diagnosis is what took them forever. I told them it was the BCM, but they checked every possibility just to make sure. It took the part 1 week to get here. This was back in November before the TSB was issued. I am sure there are plenty of BSM's stateside now.
