well.....Hey if you get it August 3rd which is 2 days away please send us the pic....i thought that the car was coming to the midwest aka Texas two states below you and guess what i was corrected buy so many folks.....all i can do is flame myself for thinking along with you that there were delieveries coming this weekend...I was told to call back next friday not tomarrow the 2nd. So not to burst your bubble...but i got mine bursted today becuase i was on yourside and thinking there was a chance in heck for some cars to come this weekend... August the 10th next weekend maybe a different story. Just to make the comment that I believe the west coast is gonna get theres before us midwest folks..........CHHHHHHIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLL Brother.

I just dont want you to go out and buy a $500 camera thinking its coming this weekend like I did.

Hey I'm no one special just like the few out there the call around .....and some times believe the dealer till I get let down.

PS....I'm from St Louis originally. lived there for 13 yrs. born at Missouri baptist. I have alot of family there. How do you think I knew some people at Meritz in Fenton. By the way Meritz its where are all the nissan information letters comes from.

Well its 12:42 august second! i hope you get your car tommorow too! The sooner the first person gets there, the soon mine comes too. If mine actually comes in august, well, hell ill throw a party!!!! I cannot concentrate on anything, this thing better come before school starts!

How much later do you all think it will come to the east coast? More than a week? I heard the boat goes around south america, which im assuming can take quite a while. Also to unload 2200 or so car form a boat, allocate them to different dealers, put some back on etc.... can take more than a few hours each stop. And from there they need to be put on trucks and driven.

Dealers are going to get a car for their showrooms that cannot be sold - for display only. The car will be owned by Nissan, not the dealer, to prevent a sale. Will be eligible for sale later in the year - maybe October.

 

I cant wait........till august 3. I will be happy either way.

thanks Danimsta I plan on getting some pics of the first delieveries in dallas. I got all the fleet managers in the area with a promise to call me when the trucks come. We will see if they do it. I'm gonna check in with em next friday. If you dont like me ignore my posts please. If you like a guy that does his best to get info and pics because he enjoys doing so...keep a look out. I shot my self down like I did today if someone misleads me with info. I have done this before in the interest of getting info.

Sorry to spoil your 15 minutes of fame Pelzi, but I talked to my sales guy, Todd Eversgerd of Bommarito Nissan, and I asked him specifically about this guy, you, who is posting that he will get his new Z on Aug. the 3rd. Todd said, "Yes I know him. Oh, really, well he misunderstood me then. No he won't be getting his until September just like most everyone else".

well i tried to be of help.....Yes as you saw on my post delievery today?????? I fell prey to the misguidings of the local dealership.

Ater I talked to my sources it is impossible for anyone to get a car now being that the boat is still in the pacific.

We will be hearing more around mid-late month for some happy folks getting their Z's

its ok that i got blasted by folks.....simple facts is I HOPED THIS WAS TRUE....But more knowlegable folks set me straight.

 

I knew it wast gonna happen! I think we'll be lucky if any one actually get sa car by the launch date of Aug 19th!

Pelzi, where is your Z? The same place as mine? I wonder if you and I really have the same dealer. It sure seems like it. Did yours tell you that you could track your order on the internet??

 

I have an order # of T307315. I ordered my Z May 28th and cant find out exactly when I am going to recieve it. Any one else out there in the same situation.
