Since your a mod I don't know whether to take that seriously or not. I was mainly wondering if anyone with an 07 has had this issue yet, considering none of the Nissan Dealerships in my area has ever heard of this happening so soon.

I'm sorry, I'm just blown away with some of the threads being started today.

It's not a widespread problem from what I can tell as there haven't really been a lot of similar posts. Nothing like the oil consumption, transmission or tire feathering problems.

Like everything else that is produced, there is a small failure rate. The belt could have been bad or it could have been overtightened or it could have been nicked during installation and that set off the failure.

its a belt dude. I havent heard of this, but no big deal. Just take it back and they will replace it.
If not, spend $10 for a new belt

if thats the worst problem your Z has, then you are going to be alright.

Annoying to be sure, but not anything to get too fired up about.
